The buttons on the Home Page which define a known relationship between the composition or process stage in the making of can body stock, and the attributes or properties as seen by the customer, are colour coded to indicate the strength of this relationship. This relative strength term relates to the sensitivity of any attribute or property to the chemistry or process stage which could affect it, as shown below.

Note that a potentially strong relationship could have little effect on the properties of the product simply because the operating window is very tightly defined - because of this strength.

Where a relationship is marked "Unknown" it means literally that - the eventual strength could be any colour, although it is sincerely hoped that no unknown, strong relationships exist for mature products !
